Pendent errr... something project :)

I have had this idea of making a pendent or a broach. So, I began with an interesting shape and it is a corset silhouette but I have not designed the outside yet because I am not sure how I want to go about it. Any ideas?

It is not perfect but as a first attempt i think it came out pretty decent.

Here is a little taste of what I have accomplished this semester and what I want to do this summer. This was an over exaggeration of a spider bite that I had a few years ago.

This is the result of reduction printing, which means that the print consists of multiple colors but only using a single block. You do this by carving away the sections once they are printed. This print consists of eight colors, but as I have found myself see that more colors means more detailed. Just make sure that each of the layers are dried before printing the next layer. Smudges can ruin a great print or if still super wet the block will not stay once the pressure of the press hits.

So, I hope that this inspires you art lovers or helps you appreciate printmaking; I know that I have :)

I cannot say SORRY enough

I honestly cannot say sorry enough for neglecting my blog and my readers. I have been so busy with school and work that I have done nothing, no new make-up or my own art. I have done some pieces for my school assignments but nothing besides that; I will be uploading some of my school once I take photos of them. :) I would at this point set goals that I never meet, but not this time all can say is that I will try my hardest to accomplish projects and post them up just as fast. Thank you again.

New Year brings on New Days

Hello Everyone!
After being gone for so long school is coming to an ending and before I transfer and restart my life in a different environment I really want to post up as many images and projects as I can. Now I haven't done much yet because I was working and going to school but since I am now just attending school, I have decided that doing something with my free time was over due. I will be pushing to do more art projects or even finding inspirational ideas. As for make-up I plan to fully do some looks I have been totally out of the make-up game so I need to see what is "in" and also experimenting.

After this message I also want to try to get more readers and like I say in all of my post...all comments are appreciated. :)

Halloween on my Mind!

I know it is still August but I have to give myself enough time to plan the annual halloween party! I have noticed the it can kind of get in the way of school and it causes issues. So I plan to at least get the invites out by early October. I need ideas and I have been looking at images to help me get inspired.

New look and hair cut!

The store that I work at, The Funky Chameleon, has just updated its internet status and you can find us at our new website. We are going to start to sell medusa's make up and for those that know of this brand you know that the quality is pretty awesome. I thought that I would do a look to help show the quality and the vibrancy of the make up. Here is a new look that I have never tried before. I love it and I hope that you do too. 

Also check out my new hair cut that I was afraid of getting but with a little push from my sister I decided that I was do for a new look. I love it and once I actually dye it I will love it even more.  :)
